Project Description

Home Chef contacted Sidekick to create a series of launch spots for their direct-to-door meal delivery service. Home Chef delivers perfectly portioned fresh ingredients, and chef-designed recipes direct to your door.

Trying to help separate their product from an increasingly crowded market, we opted to skip the direction taken by the competition (smiling, brightly-lit couples cooking in slow motion) and went for comedy.

Written and Co-Directed by Bruno Pieroni (brunopieroni.myportfolio.com) and performed by Second City Main Stage actors Asher Perlman and Katie Klein, the spot has been helping shine a light on Home Chef.

As usual, we made a few versions of the spot to help get the word out across social media. Oh, and did we mention this was on national TV as well?
